Four Years: Freshmen-1

To me now, freshmen year was such a blur. Right now there are so many different things rushing through my mind about that year, but I’ll do my best to recover each and every detail. My time as a freshman definately had its ups and downs and I hope to display it to the best of my ability. For my life is different than the average teenager and this is because I got to a unique kind of military school called the Marine Academy of Science and Technology.

It was bright that morning, when I woke up. I sat up in bed and looked around my room. I saw my clothes hanging up for the day, my backpack thrown in a corner, a mess of summer clothing on the floor, and a navy uniform thrown in another corner. I walked up this new array of clothes I would have to wear this year and just looked at it, confused. “Why am I doing this to myself?” I remember thinking. I had always been against violence, wars, and the military all together. This jumble mess up patches, a weird hat that looked like something you’d see a fast food worker wear, an ugly white shirt, and some pins. I was not looking foward to wearing this at all.
